軟木，取自地中海西部常見的栓皮櫟樹之樹皮，採收過程無需砍伐樹木。剝下外層的樹皮，能促進栓皮櫟樹的生長，且樹皮的採收量被嚴格控制，讓軟木成為一種對環境非常友善的再生材料。這種輕盈的天然材質，在丟棄後可以百分之百降解，不會造成環境負擔。
